PIPE services are centralised and delivered to clients via redundant pairs of fibre optic circuits, much like other more familiar centralised utility services. Options' innovative approach to financial technology is an extension of a well established standard used for other utilities such as power and telephony, and has notable advantages when applied to technology infrastructure and alternative investment management.

The PIPE infrastructure has been purpose-built from inception for the highest levels of performance, resilience, safety, scalability and flexibility, based on the significant experience and expertise of investment technology leaders.
